La lettre "principale" en anglais (trad en Français sur le site de Korben):

Well if you’re reading this , I guess I must be in Jail.

Serving time for Copyright Infringement, a victimless crime that I never made a single dollar off of. Infact over the years I bet I paid a thousand or so in Site donations and server costs, not even including thetime I spent doing code work for a dozen or so places.

Oh yeah , BTW Spunky here ... most of you know me by my real name Greg Cherwonik, thank you DOJfor splattering that on the internet. I've got a few parting comments to make before I slip into theshadows of prison life.

IMAGiNE the possibilities if Chris Dodd and the MPAA didn’t exist....we'd still be paying $5 USD for amovie. Maybe then I wouldn’t mind so much when I take my family out and the movie sucks. If theydidn’t extort (yes I said extort, isn’t that what you call it when you “NEED” to pay someone for protection?) so much money from the studios. After all this, the KINGPIN of corruption earns 1.5 mil a
year , not bad for someone that bribes Politician’s and buys DOJ investigations with millions and millionsof dollars.

If Hollywood released to theaters quality movies and left the garbage to run on STV and TV I think mostof us would be a lot happier. If the Studios released First Run Movies on the internet for lets say $30, Ithink they'd be pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Most would love nothing more than to pay areasonable price to watch a movie at home.

IMAGiNE the possibilities if the DOJ , HLS, and ICE actually worked to secure our borders??? After all that’s what they were supposedly formed for, not the twisted interpretation of the Patriot Act that some political ally of the MPAA came up with. I still don’t see the connection there? Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.... movie piracy ... where’s the connection there. I’m not and have never been a terrorist. Although when they raided and held my family hostage one the agents had the balls to ask my children "why is your father a terrorist?”, WTF is that.

If they would just secure our borders can you IMAGiNE how much money they would save some of thestates, let alone the US Government itself. No need for TSA check points on domestic flights, if they do their job right on the international ones we wouldn’t have any worries.

All I do know is our right to privacy has been greatly eroded since the turn of the century. It’s to the point now where I feel something needs to change in this country. I can guarantee you that I am notalone in thinking we are no longer "land of the FREE".

As for my incarceration. Was it worth it? NO.

Nothing is worth losing your freedom, would I do it again ... hmmm I dont know. I learned so much from it. Without it I wouldn’t have learned HTML and PHP. Both of which I use on the website I made for the Robotics teams I used to Mentor. They probably won’t want a felon to Mentor the kids . Too bad , I really enjoyed working with them.

Well that’s about it , I’m off to serve my time. As one of my favorite DJ's says "It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice".
