This video represents some of the key features of this Lego Powerloader set that was designed by Mark Nathan Willetts.
The set was designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 20th Century Fox movie Aliens in 2016. The classic movie that was directed by James Cameron is loved by millions of fans around the world. The Powerloader scene with LT Ripley especially is a classic moment in movie history.
This set was submitted to the Lego ideas program on the 19/03/2015, and unfortunately was rejected the same day. Even just the inclusion of the Powerloader vehicle within a non movie related Lego Space set was deemed to be "Violent theme related".
However, we would still like fans to get their hands upon this fantastic set. So keeping to the 10,000 votes necessary for Lego ideas. We request your help to gain 10,000 subscribers. For this, we will give back to the fans by posting a step by step instruction video and a printable sheet of decals (print file supplied), for building the set yourself. We will log every part number to make it the uttermost ease for sourcing the correct parts.
